The City of Hamilton Police Department is actively recruiting current certified law enforcement officers for lateral transfers to the Patrol Officer rank. This opportunity requires candidates to have at least two years of full-time experience. The recruitment process includes interviews and evaluations but will not require national testing or initial fitness exams.

The City of Hamilton Police Department is recruiting for CURRENT certified law enforcement officers interested in the lateral transfer process. Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements will NOTbe required to complete the National testing Network (NTN) test, or the initial pre-hire physical fitness exam.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Eligible candidates must have AT LEAST TWO (2) YEARS OF FULL-TIME EXPERIENCE as a sworn law enforcement officer with a recognized law enforcement agency.
• Eligible candidates must be CURRENT LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERSwith a recognized law enforcement agency.
• Eligible candidates must submit an application that includes ANY CERTIFICATIONS THEY HAVE EARNED TO DATE.

FOR THIS RECRUITMENT, THE PROCESS SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
