Position Description

Seeking qualified individuals for the role of Police Officer - Lateral. Responsibilities include responding to calls, conducting investigations, patrolling, making arrests, writing reports, and supporting community safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum age 21
• Valid Arizona Class D Driver's License, with no felony convictions
• Arizona POST certification or eligible for waiver
• Above average physical conditioning

Physical Demands

Positions require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. May involve exerting force up to 100 pounds and exposure to various environmental conditions.

Additional Information

Includes a $8,000 hiring bonus, with 50% paid upon hire and 50% after successful probation. Candidates must commit to 3 years of service. A thorough background check, polygraph, psychological exam, medical exam, and drug screening are required. Must work nights, weekends, and holidays.
