The Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) Office of Investigations and Security Services is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Police Officer II.
Police Officer II is the full performance level of law enforcement work and performs the full range of duties with complete independence. Employees are subject to call-in duty during emergencies and staffing shortages and will work a rotating shift. Employees will be required to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Employees are required to bear firearms and demonstrate practical knowledge and proficiency in the safe use and care of firearms periodically.

Note: MVA Police Officers are subject to the Transportation Services Human Resources (TSHRS) Policies and are not afforded rights under the Law Enforcement Officers' Bill of Rights (LEOBR).
Employees will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions. They receive general supervision under a Police Officer Supervisor or Police Chief.
