Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a dedicated Security Officer in Georgia to perform patrolling, surveillance, escorting, investigation, and intervention services to protect patients, visitors, teammates, staff, and property.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least four years as a police officer, P.O.S.T. certification, a valid driver’s license, and completion of Atrium Health training within 90 days of hire. Excellent communication skills and CPI/restraint training are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of employment as a police officer.
• P.O.S.T. certification number.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Complete Atrium Health training within 90 days of hire (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention/De-escalation, defensive tactics).
• Must communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• GPSTC (24.0 Hours).
• CPI/RestraintTraining
