Advocate Health is seeking a Full-Time Public Safety Officer to patrol facilities, monitor surveillance, escort individuals, investigate incidents, and intervene to protect patients, visitors, teammates, staff, and property.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, at least four years as a police officer, P.O.S.T. certification number, a valid driver's license, and completion of Atrium Health safety training within 90 days of hire. Strong written and verbal communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a minimum of four (4) years of employment as a police officer.
• P.O.S.T. certification number.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Complete training from Atrium Health that includes but is not limited to: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention/De-escalation, and defensive tactics, within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly, in both oral and written form.

Job Summary:
