The Police Officer is certified by the State of Arkansas to enforce law and safeguard our campus community. Primary responsibilities include the following:
This position is governed by law enforcement standards, state and federal laws, and agency policy.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Minimum Qualifications:
Per the Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training (CLEST) - Rule 1002: Every officer employed by a law enforcement agency must be a citizen of the United States of America or a Marshallese citizen and must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of hire.
