The Police Officer, certified by the State of Arkansas, is responsible for enforcing laws and safeguarding the campus community. Responsibilities include community engagement, proactive patrols, traffic enforcement, responding to emergencies, collaborating with agencies, and maintaining records. This position is governed by law enforcement standards, laws, and agency policy, requiring reliable attendance and collegial relationships.
Pre-employment screening includes background checks, sex offender registry, credit check, substance testing, and MVR check. This posting may be used for current and future openings and expires on the posted end date. Applicants must reapply after expiration.
Starting salary: $50,400 after academy certification, $56,000 thereafter.
