Qualifications

• Emergency response skills and public safety mindset.
• Ability to patrol and respond to calls with professionalism.
• Knowledge of firearms handling and safety.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency public service calls and complaints.
• Patrol an assigned area by vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle or foot, leaves area to assist other officers on calls as needed.
• Conduct public assembly checks, building security checks, and checks of other public areas.
• Issue warnings or citations for federal, state and municipal violations.
• Assure safe and competent handling of firearms.
• Preserve the peace in the community including at public and private gatherings.
