Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• TCOLE peace officer license or enrolled in basic course.
• 21 years old (20 if enrolled in basic course) and Texas driver’s license.
• Pass physical, written, oral review, polygraph, psych screening, functional capacity, and drug screen.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Patrol streets, deter crime, investigate crimes and accidents, and enforce laws.
• Prepare reports, collect evidence, and provide testimony in courts.
