Under various laws and policies, performs police activities that involve personal danger and adverse conditions. Responsibilities include service duties such as providing information, dispute resolution, property protection, crime prevention and investigation, arresting criminals, traffic management, and other public safety services.
Minimum qualifications include a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License, U.S. citizenship, minimum age of 21, high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 60 college credits within 5 years of hire. Official transcripts must be submitted if applicable.
Convictions related to domestic violence, recent serious traffic offenses, or felonies will disqualify applicants.
