This full-time, on-site Police Officer role is based at the University of New Orleans campus in New Orleans, LA. The Police Officer will patrol assigned areas, respond to calls for service, and provide visible security presence to promote the safety and well-being of students, employees, and visitors. Daily responsibilities include enforcing laws and university regulations, conducting preliminary and follow-up criminal investigations, securing and processing evidence, and preparing accurate incident and investigative reports. The role also involves supporting crime prevention initiatives, assisting in emergency response and evacuation procedures, and collaborating with other law enforcement agencies and campus departments. The Police Officer is expected to interact professionally with a diverse campus community, uphold high ethical standards, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
