Qualifications for Entry Level Police Officer:

• U.S. Citizen
• 18+ years old
• Valid driver’s license with good record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 60 post-high school credits within six months of interview
• No felony or domestic abuse convictions
• Good communication skills
• Computer skills
• Physical and mental ability to perform essential duties
• Residency up to 30 miles from Neenah allowed

Salary & Benefits:

Top patrol officer salary after 7 years is $83,075/year; starting at $60,347. Compensation includes longevity, overtime, call time, firearm certification, and professional development. Lateral hires may receive accelerated pay based on prior service.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts on a 26-day cycle, including holidays and vacation accrual based on years of service. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement, and more.
