An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Co-Responder to partner with law enforcement and community service providers. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide trauma-sensitive crisis intervention and support planning for individuals in distress. New opportunity just opened up- full time Co-Responder position and a part time position- 16-20 hours per month. Every other Sunday.
The Co-responder partners with law enforcement, community service providers, and other first responders to provide trauma-sensitive, person-centered crisis intervention and de-escalation, assessment, support planning, and connection with community resources to individuals experiencing a crisis in the community. The Co-responder provides outreach, follow-up, and community support for those impacted by mental health and substance use. The position works out of the Sheboygan Police Department.
Pay Range: $21-28/hr and shift differentials.
