The starting pay is $35.24/hour, roughly $73,308 annually, with an additional $4,653 per year after academy completion under KLEFPF eligibility.

Qualifications

• Starting pay is $35.24/hour.
• Annual salary starts at approximately $73,308.
• Upon successful completion of the police academy, an additional $4,653 per year will be added to the employee’s salary in accordance with KLEFPF eligibility.
• To potentially qualify for lateral pay, a lateral police officer must have a minimum of two years of full-time employment with a state, county, or municipal police, sheriff's department, or similar agency.
