St. Charles County is seeking qualified candidates for a police department management position.

The role will be assigned to one of four bureaus: Administrative Services, Field Operations, Operational Support, or Criminal Investigation. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field, Missouri POST certification, a valid driver’s license, ten years in law enforcement with two years of supervisory experience, and successful background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Criminal Justice or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and direct department support operations.
• Oversee field operations and assist with general management issues.
• Oversee special operations, including air unit, SWAT, firearms training range.
• Oversee BCI operations including staff in crime investigations, crime lab, cybercrime.
