The Winslow Police Department is seeking a Police Cadet who will attend the Arizona POST Board basic training academy to obtain certification. This at-will position includes a probationary period and a path to regular status upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• Meet POST basic training academy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attend classroom training sessions and take notes to obtain State Peace Officer Certification.
• Complete written, oral, and skills examinations for required Peace Officer skills.
• Participate in physical conditioning training and testing; maintain fitness.
• Adhere to AZ POST academy rules and regulations.
• Perform related duties as assigned or required.
