Job summary

Arizona Department of Public Safety in Arizona is recruiting Cadet State Troopers to join a statewide eligibility list. Cadets participate in AZ P.O.S.T. Basic Training and other DPS training to learn general duty police work; after certification, the incumbent is reclassified to State Trooper.

Successful candidates must be U.S. citizens, hold a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21 by the end of training, be Arizona residents with a valid driver's license, and be willing to relocate

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 by the end of AZ P.O.S.T. Basic Training.
• Must be a resident of Arizona with a valid Arizona driver license.
