Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Active enrollment in ¾ post-secondary law enforcement program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine maintenance and cleaning of police vehicles.
• Provide no-contact monitoring, meals, and laundry in detention facility.
• Maintain community relations by giving police tours.
• Complete forms and reports as required.
• Assist with crime prevention activities.
• Assist at police department front counter.
• Provide delivery services to crime lab, court, or Mayor/City Council.
• Assist with transporting evidence or documents for investigations.
• Assist in setting up traffic speed trailer.
• Assist Animal Control duties including animal issues.
• Clean kennels, feed animals, and manage impounded animals.
• Provide light filing, data entry, and clerical support.
