Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a Brockton resident or have resided in Brockton for the required period; citizen or naturalized citizen; aged 18–22; good moral character and integrity; at least a high school diploma or GED; Massachusetts driver’s license; ability to work nights and weekends; subject to a physical fitness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform various administrative tasks: filing, data entry, information research, answer phones, scanning, data collection.
• Participate in ride-alongs and at special events throughout the City.
• Assist in police operations like traffic control and support non-front-line activities during assignments.
• Assist with public safety outreach and Crime Prevention initiatives while assigned to Community Education Division.
