Job summary

Koppers Inc. is seeking a Loader Operator to move and stack poles and materials at our Leesville, LA site. You will load and unload goods from railcars and trailers, complete required paperwork, and keep equipment clean and safe for daily operations.

Work with a small team to meet safety, quality, and production goals, performing routine maintenance and using basic math to align loads with customer specs.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and read work orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader to move and stack poles and other materials.
• Load and unload poles and products on/off transportation vehicles.
• Process paperwork to ensure accuracy of incoming/outgoing products.
• Maintain loader safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning.
• Work with team to meet safety and production goals.
• Read work orders to build loads for delivery per customer specs.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and safety checks.
