Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an outdoor foreperson to lead a small crew in routine maintenance and remedial treatment of wood poles used to carry power lines. You will identify decay or defects and ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met.

The role involves training during an up to 8-week period, travel, and a company vehicle after training. You will work in varied weather conditions and must be able to manage time and workload effectively.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ambitious, career-minded, and safety-conscious.
• Computer and smartphone literate.
• Ability to read maps and navigate in congested areas.
• Independently manage time and workload to meet deadlines.
• Mechanically inclined with experience using a variety of tools.
• Outdoor position requiring adaptation to weather and elements.
• Minimum 40-hour workweek with Saturdays as inclement weather makeup days.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of 1 to 5 field workers for routine maintenance and remedial treatment of wood poles.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
• Collect field data and maintain daily/weekly reports.
