Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a Pole Inspection and Treatment Foreman to lead a field crew in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and beyond. The role combines hands-on inspections, restoration work, and mentorship, with heavy travel and a focus on safety and quality control.

You will use iPads, GIS software, and GPS tools to document work and ensure efficiency, while coordinating with the Project Manager on daily progress and staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and mentor a field crew with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated knowledge of utility infrastructure and inspections.
• Proficient in English and experienced with field technology.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR; able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as working foreman, performing daily field tasks with crew.
• Lead inspections, restoration, and field operations of poles.
• Ensure safety, quality, production, and compliance standards.
• Supervise scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on daily progress and issues.
• Utilize GPS/iPad/GIS tools for field data collection.
• Travel up to 75–100% and maintain vehicle/equipment.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new employees.
