Job summary

Grid One Solutions, LLC is seeking a utility pole inspection foreperson to lead a field crew performing routine maintenance and remedial treatment on wooden poles used to carry power lines. You will gain experience identifying pole decay or defects while coordinating work outdoors.

The role includes up to 8 weeks of training (onsite and classroom), a company vehicle after training, and travel to local/state regions. PPE is provided; pay starts at $23–$30 per hour with increases after training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ambitious, career-minded, safety-conscious.
• Able to read maps and navigate congested areas.
• Independently manage time and workload to meet deadlines.
• Mechanically inclined and has experience with a variety of tools.
• Outdoor position; adapt to various elements and weather conditions.
• Minimum 40-hour workweek with Saturdays as inclement weather make-up days.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, training, managing, and supervising a crew of 1 to 5 people.
• Maintain all tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Achieve expected safety, quality, and production goals.
• Collect field data and maintain daily and weekly reports.
