Job summary

TTK Enterprises in the Bakken region is seeking an experienced Carpentry Construction Foreman to lead and work alongside crews on pole/post-frame and stick-frame projects. The role supports residential, agricultural, and oil and gas structures, focusing on quality construction and safe, efficient execution.

You will read blueprints, plan daily crew assignments, coordinate materials and subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' leadership in the building construction industry
• Extensive experience in post-frame construction
• Valid Drivers License
• Available to work 10-12 hours and weekend availability during peak construction season
• Agree to comply with all safety processes and procedures
• Standard weight lifting requirements - 50 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds
• Capable of working in a physically demanding environment and at heights up to 40 feet

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on carpentry and construction work while directing assigned crew(s) in pole/post-frame and stick-frame structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, drawings, layouts, and project specifications to meet requirements
• Plan and organize daily crew assignments, establish expected progress, and maximize crew efficiency
• Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, manpower, suppliers, and subcontractors for timely completion
• Monitor progress, scheduling, and performance to meet budget and quality standards
• Provide leadership by maintaining a safe, organized, productive work environment
• Assist with project bidding by reviewing plans and providing estimates
• Ensure crew members receive training and follow safety, construction, and company policies
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee development
• Communicate with customers regarding requirements, progress, and concerns
• Conduct daily planning and crew meetings; review assignments and safety topics
• Complete daily tickets and project documentation accurately and timely
• Perform other related duties as assigned
