Job summary

Grid One Solutions seeks a Crew Member for Utility Pole Inspection. You will perform routine maintenance and remedial treatment on wood poles carrying power lines, and identify decay or defects to ensure reliability.

The role includes on-the-job training, PPE supplied, and potential travel to remote locations; 40-hour weeks with some Saturdays. Pay ranges $20.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read maps and navigate in congested areas.
• Mechanically inclined with tools experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum 40-hour workweek with Saturdays for inclement weather makeup.
• Must adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

Crew Member Utility Pole Inspection

As a utility pole inspection crew member, you will learn and work in providing routine maintenance and remedial treatment of wood poles used to carry power lines and other above-ground utility lines. You will also gain experience identifying any decay or defects.

Description

Paid On-The-Job Training, Hotel Accommodations, Per-Diem, Performance incentives, transportation from starting point to a remote location, and much more. PPE provided, including Hardhat, Safety Vest, Safety glasses, work gloves, etc. You will be required to provide acceptable workwear, as well as boots with a hard toe.

Pay

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience

Pre-Screen

Travel Requirements

Willing to travel locally, statewide, and regionally as needed. Overnight stays will be necessary (Paid hotel accommodations provided by the employer along with a per-diem).
