Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland invites applications for a Poker Room Attendant to provide exceptional guest service in the Live! Poker Room.

You will manage player flow, operate seating systems, assist with tournaments and promotions, and ensure a welcoming, efficient poker environment with a professional demeanor. Responsibilities include registering players, seating to balance games, answering calls, and supporting tournaments, comps, and promotions while maintaining room cleanliness and brand

Responsibilities

• Register players using poker software.
• Seat players to maintain balance of games and efficient play.
• Answer phone inquiries and take reservations politely.
• Assist with poker tournament registration, entry fees, cash receipts, and table assignments.
• Support comps, Live! Rewards cards, and promotions as needed.
• Expedite food orders and ensure timely deliveries to guests.
• Help guests with safety deposit boxes and security awareness.
• Attend required trainings and meetings and maintain a clean poker room environment.

Your ability to manage player flow, operate seating systems, assist with tournaments and promotions, and provide attentive service ensures that each guest feels valued and well‑taken care of. From greeting and registering players to coordinating food delivery and supporting operational needs, your professionalism and positive energy help maintain an organized, friendly, and guest‑centered poker environment. Through exceptional service and a commitment to efficiency, you help deliver the elevated gaming experience that defines the Live! brand.

Compensation

$14.50/hr plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Providing exemplary guest service with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
• Ensuring guests receive a favorable gaming experience by addressing guests by name, using open palms to direct and using a friendly departing statement.
• Registering players using the computer poker software.
• Seating players while maintaining the proper balance of games.
• Answering telephone inquiries accurately and politely. Taking phone reservations.
• Assisting Supervisors with poker tournament registration including entry fees, cash receipts, table assignments, and the payout of winners.
• Assisting Supervisors with comps, promoting and making Live! Rewards cards for guests, and promotions upon request.
• Expediting food orders and correctly completing guest order deliveries.
• Handling and assisting guests with safety deposit boxes upon request.
• Ensuring the safety and security of team members and guests by notifying management of any suspicious or unusual activities.
• Attending training and meetings when required.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Poker Room.
• Maintaining an attractive appearance while modeling an appealing brand image.

Min Compensation

USD $14.50/Hr.

Qualifications

Must-Haves

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to continuously stand and or continuously walk more than (90%) of shift which may include stairs.
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require repetitive lifting, bending and stooping.

Working Conditions

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.

Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.
