Job summary

Texas Card House is seeking a Brush Attendant to support the poker room on-site, manage chip runs, assist dealers, and help maintain clean, efficient table operations. The role involves seating players, delivering chips to the Cage, and monitoring game flow with a focus on guest satisfaction.

The position requires knowledge of Texas Hold'em rules, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced casino environment, and strong math and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Texas Hold'em poker rules and hand rankings.
• Experience dealing poker in a casino or card house setting is preferred.
• Strong math skills for quick mental calculations.
• Excellent customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with players and staff.
• Impeccable attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle chips with dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of casino games, rules, and operations.
• Assist in seating players and managing chip runs to and from the Cage.
• Deliver new decks of cards to dealers upon request.
• Observe and report on game play, identifying irregularities or potential issues.
• Perform regular table touches, greeting guests and assisting dealers and poker room staff.
• Assist in administering promotions and monitor player activity in the poker room.
• Ensure the poker area remains clean and organized, addressing spills or messes promptly.
• Track players waiting for seats and assist in managing player flow in the poker room.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with Title 31 regulations by identifying and reporting suspicious financial activity.
• Communicate clearly with dealers, floor staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth game operations.
• Complete closing tasks, including securing chips and verifying dealer banks.
