JACK Cleveland Casino is offering a Poker Dealer Training Academy with FREE training from October 21 through November 29. Classes run Wednesday through Sunday, 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Table Games Training Center, focusing on Hold’em and Omaha.

Completion provides an opportunity to audition for a part-time Poker Dealer role, though employment is not guaranteed. Space is limited; must be 21; interviews and basic math tests occur before registration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills essential.
• Must perform basic math quickly.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Delivers great customer service by dealing all games offered by JACK Cleveland Casino in a friendly and helpful manner with an upbeat/positive attitude.
• Assists in training guests not familiar with poker.
• Promotes poker games and serves guests while standing on dead games.
• Demonstrates an effective working knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures.
• Deals games in accordance with internal controls, Ohio Casino Control Commission regulations and company policy.
