Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Poker Dealer to join our table games team. You will conduct poker games, manage the table bank and pots, and ensure compliance with all rules and policies. Your proficiency in promotions knowledge and math supports accurate payouts and tips handling.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, require good English communication, and maintain professionalism while providing guests with an engaging gaming experience.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Money handling abilities.
• Thorough understanding of Poker Room promotions and payoffs.
• Ability to deal Hold’em and Stud poker games.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Capacity to sit and deal for 2–4 hour periods.
• Ability to stay composed in a noisy environment.
• Comply with gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

• Experience in conducting poker games.
• Safeguards the assets of the company.
• Conduct the poker game.
• Responsible for the accuracy of the table bank and the pot.
• Adhere to poker room policies / procedures.
• Review and inspect working environment for safety hazards.
• Stay informed of corporate, property and Poker Department policies.
• Brush-duty as needed.
• Poker dealer retains accrued tips.
• Comply with Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic mathematic skills.
• Money handling skills.
• Thorough understanding and working knowledge of all Poker Room promotions and payoffs.
• Ability to deal all Hold’em and Stud type poker games.
• Ability to communicate, understand and read and write the English language.
• Posses the ability to sit and deal for long periods of time (2 to 4 hour periods)
• The ability to make sound professional decisions in a noisy and at times confusing environment.
• The ability to retain his/hers composure and professional demeanor in times of Guests and Employee displeasure’s, requests and/or complaints.
