The poker dealer is responsible for dealing all poker games and handling the customer’s needs in a professional manner. Provides prompt, accurate, and courteous service to poker players, utilizing the highest degree of technical skill in dealing poker. Must complete a passing audition.
Description
- Deals poker and variations by delivering cards to players
- Collects bets according to house rules
- Determines winners and losers according to game rules
- Greets guests appropriately
- Follows all dealer procedures as indicated in the poker dealer rules
Requirements
- Must be energetic, outgoing, and be able to relate well to co-workers and patrons.
- High School Graduate
- May require some light lifting (under 15 lbs.)
- Must be able to use both hands to complete the poker table procedures
- Must have the ability to view and identify all cards in deck
- Moderate physical effort is required
- Normal or corrected vision
- Continuous mental and visual attention; usually diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity
- Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
