175 Hard Rock Bristol LLC seeks a guest services associate in Massachusetts to greet guests, answer phones, manage poker seating, handle buy-ins and credits, and maintain a clean, compliant gaming floor. The role emphasizes guest relations, safety, and discreet reporting of concerns.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, prior guest service or poker experience preferred, ability to work holidays/weekends, and ability to obtain all required licenses and pass background checks.

• Meet and greet guests.
• Answer telephone in Poker area and questions from potential players.
• Maintain waiting lists for all Poker games using the Bravo system.
• Open and maintain games.
• Page players when seats are available and escort players to tables as needed.
• Provide buy-ins to players as needed.
• Perform credits and fills with Dealers.
• Transport cash and chips to and from Poker Cage as needed.
• Wash and reset decks as assigned.
• Maintain constant contact with Floor person to ensure proper servicing of guests.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
• Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
• Promote positive guest and team member relations at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior guest service, poker experience and/or poker certificate preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must successfully pass drug screening.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
• Hard Rock operations.
• Policies and procedures as well as knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques.

ABILITY TO:

• Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.

PAY RANGE:

$2 - $25/Hourly
