Halifax Health is seeking a Lab Section Supervisor - Point of Care (POC) to support the Manager of the Laboratory in supervising testing across newborn to geriatric patients. This role requires leadership in Blood Bank, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis or Microbiology.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's in Medical Technology or related field, 3–5 years of lab experience, 1–2 years of supervision, Florida MT license, and ASCP or equivalent certification, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related science is required.
• 3–5 years clinical laboratory experience required.
• 1–2 years supervisory or management experience required.
• Florida Medical Technologist or supervisor license required.
• ASCP or equivalent certification required.
• Must be skilled in testing for newborn, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative supervision over testing across multiple lab sections.
• Assist the Manager of the Laboratory in day-to-day operations and ensure quality and compliance.
