Job summary

InBios International Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Scientist I to design, build, and scale point-of-care diagnostic assays from early development through manufacturing transfer.

This hands-on, wet-lab role focuses on assay sensitivity, specificity, and reproducibility within a GMP environment. The position is full-time on-site in Seattle, with salary range $92,196 - $115,000 and a funding-backed 18-month contract.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in life sciences with related experience.
• Demonstrated immunoassay development experience, including clinical diagnostics.
• Working knowledge of cGMP/ISO quality systems and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop rapid assays such as lateral flow immunoassays, including reagent selection and conjugation.
• Incorporate novel techniques to enhance assay sensitivity (fluorescent, chemiluminescent, enzymatic).
• Design and execute experiments to optimize assays for diverse biospecimens (blood/serum).
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assay performance issues for robust development and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze data, summarize findings, and present to management.
