Job summary
InBios International Inc. in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Research Associate III to support development and manufacturing of molecular diagnostics.
This part-time, on-site role focuses on designing and validating multiplex qPCR assays and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams for both research and commercial development. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in molecular biology and at least two years of industry experience, with proficiency in primer/probe design and automated extraction
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or related field.
- Minimum of two years in molecular diagnostics or life sciences industry.
- Experience with primer and probe design, assay development, and DNA/RNA analysis.
- Experience with multiple PCR platforms including qPCR and automated extraction systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, optimize, and validate multiplex qPCR diagnostic assays.
- Perform nucleic acid extraction from BSL-2 human clinical specimens.
- Conduct analytical and clinical validation studies for assay performance.
- Analyze data, prepare technical reports and study documentation.
- Support assay development and quality activities with in-house testing.
- Collaborate with antibody engineering to support binder discovery.
