Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Surgery Scheduler.
• Familiarity with office procedures and phone systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical administrative support.
• Experience in a medical office setting; podiatry experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical operations with excellence and care.
• Provide a high level of service to patients.
• Answer calls, take messages, and route accordingly.
• Assist with insurance verification and billing tasks.
• Obtain pre-operative clearance and medical records.
