Job summary

MedStar Health seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) to join our podiatry team at MedStar Harbor Hospital and MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. You will deliver comprehensive foot and ankle care in outpatient and inpatient settings, collaborating with podiatric surgeons and managing your own clinic schedule.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with opportunities for professional growth, CME leave, and a competitive benefits package

Qualifications

• Completion and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Maryland licensure or eligibility.
• Current CPR certification and podiatry/foot and ankle care experience preferred.
• Experience caring for patients with complex wounds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive foot and ankle care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate closely with podiatric surgeons and care teams.
• Independently manage a patient schedule with dedicated clinic time.
• Evaluate and manage hospitalized podiatry patients at both locations.

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) to join our Podiatry team at MedStar Harbor Hospital and MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. You'll be part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with access to advanced resources, continued education, and professional growth opportunities throughout the MedStar Health network.

This position provides comprehensive foot and ankle care, including wound care, across outpatient and inpatient settings. The role is primarily outpatient, with dedicated clinic time and the opportunity to independently manage a patient schedule while collaborating closely with MedStar Health's podiatric surgeons. The APP will also evaluate and manage hospitalized podiatry patients at both locations.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Preferred Experience: At least two years of experience in Podiatric Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery (foot and ankle preferred), or Wound Care.

Job Requirements

• Current CPR certification

• Podiatry, orthopedic surgery, foot and ankle, surgical, or wound care experience preferred
