Job summary

MedStar Health seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the Podiatry team at MedStar Harbor Hospital and MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. The APP will deliver comprehensive foot and ankle care in outpatient and inpatient settings, collaborating with podiatric surgeons and managing a patient schedule independently.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in podiatric surgery, orthopedic surgery (foot/ankle), or wound care, with Maryland licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current or eligible for Maryland licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Podiatry, orthopedic surgery, foot and ankle, surgical, or wound care experience preferred.
• Experience caring for patients with complex or chronic wounds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive foot and ankle care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate closely with podiatric surgeons and manage a patient schedule independently.
• Evaluate and manage hospitalized podiatry patients at two locations.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care across the MedStar Health network.
