Job summary

Golden Valley Health Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Podiatry Clinic in Manteca and Patterson, CA. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. Compensation: $22.00–$23.10 per hour.

Typical responsibilities include assisting in patient care, vital signs, specimen collection, medication administration, wound care, and patient education under provider supervision. Requires MA certificate and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic MA and back-office procedures and medical terminology.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills; excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, build positive relationships, work well in a team, and travel as required for assigned site(s) and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving.
• Works in a team care environment to provide patient care within scope of practice.
• Coordinates duties with supervisors, licensed providers, and leadership.
• Pre-visit planning in collaboration with patients.
• Providing continuity of care for the patient within the care team for that day.
• Record and maintain patient data and vital signs.
