Job summary

Plymouth Podiatry PC is seeking a Medical Assistant or qualified CNA to join a fast-paced podiatry practice serving Raynham and Plymouth offices. The role requires strong communication, compassion, HIPAA/OSHA awareness, and ability to work independently with flexibility for location changes on short notice.

The ideal candidate will assist physicians and staff, prepare treatment rooms, manage records, perform routine measurements, and follow PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Provides administrative and clinical support to physicians and staff.
• Prepares examination rooms for patient examinations.
• Performs routine vital sign checks and measurements.
• Maintains medical records and patient history.
• EMR experience with eClinical Works preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff with administrative and clinical duties.
• Prepare examination rooms and stock supplies.
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and record vitals.
• Perform routine screening tests (height, weight, blood pressure).
• Assist with procedures and hand instruments.
• Follow PPE and infection control protocols; HIPAA/OSHA compliance.
• Cross-train to provide receptionist support when needed.
