US Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our podiatry practice. You will work directly with patients and support physicians in a fast-paced outpatient setting, providing hands-on care and patient education.

You'll receive hands-on training and ongoing clinical development. The ideal candidate has MA program completion or 1+ year of clinical experience, CMA/RMA certification preferred, and ability to travel between local office locations.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or 1+ year clinical experience.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Detail-oriented, professional and patient-focused.
• Willingness to travel between local office locations.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsabilidades

• Welcome, room, and prepare patients for exams and in-office procedures.
• Take vitals, update medical histories, record medications/allergies, and document in the EMR.
• Assist physicians with minor procedures, post-op care, digital X-rays, and basic podiatric services.
• Apply dressings, DME, and provide patient instructions and education.
• Manage lab specimens, verify insurance and pre-authorizations, and process prescriptions.
• Make post-operative calls and answer patient questions with excellent service.
• Open, prep, clean, and close exam rooms; sterilize instruments; manage supplies.
• Maintain documentation and HIPAA compliance; support back-office operations.
