Job summary

San Mateo Podiatry Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to greet patients, manage the new patient experience, and document care in an Apple iPad EMR under physician supervision. Strong customer service, organization, and accuracy are essential for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have medical office experience, English/Spanish bilingual skills a plus, and familiarity with e-prescribing and referrals.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and familiarity with patient intake and basic EMR charting.
• Experience in medical/dental office settings preferred.
• Certificates or degrees in medical practice administration or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients.
• Learn and implement the New Patient Experience.
• Under the Doctor's supervision, track the patient's care in the practice's Apple iPad EMR.
• Track office productivity metrics.
• Other duties as assigned, including ongoing team education and development.
• All duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
