Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS Certification from an approved program (can be obtained on the job).
• Medical Assistant: Certified MA or Registered MA preferred; training on the job possible.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, record vital signs and patient backgrounds.
• Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders and prepare patient charts.
• Instruct patients and families within licensure or certification scope.
• Assist with in-office procedures and prepare medications/immunizations.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment per infection control standards.
• Ensure adequate medical supplies for each patient room.
