Job summary

Balance Health, majority owned by its podiatrists, seeks a Podiatrist for Foot and Ankle Center of the Rockies. This role travels to Cheyenne metro area clinics, providing routine and referral podiatric services under the direction of the CMO.

You will examine and treat foot and ankle conditions, perform procedures, prescribe therapies, and educate patients while maintaining accurate medical records and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited school.
• Board certification through ABFAS.
• Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms and progress.
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in medical care.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating foot/ankle conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and option-evaluation skills.
• Excellent communication with patients, colleagues, and vendors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass background checks and DMV screening.
• Demonstrated combination of education and experience to perform essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Examine legs and feet to diagnose diseases.
• Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders of feet/ankles.
• Perform procedures and wound care as needed.
• Diagnose via histories, exams, X-rays, labs.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, or surgery.
• Advise on treatments and preventive care.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate with care team.
• Support health promotion and preventive medicine.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
