Job summary

Advanced Foot & Ankle Center, part of Balance Health, is seeking a licensed podiatrist to join our Utah county office. You will examine feet and ankles, diagnose conditions, perform surgeries when needed, and coordinate care with our multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited school
• Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program
• Current license as a Podiatrist in Utah

Responsibilities

• Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases
• Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles
• Perform surgery
• Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physicals, x-rays and labs
• Prescribe medications, devices, therapy, or surgery
• Advise patients on treatments and foot/ankle care to prevent future problems
• Provide education to patients, families and healthcare teams
• Promote health and preventive medicine
• Perform wound care management
• Maintain medical records for assigned patients
