Job summary

Kintegra Health in Shelby, NC seeks a compassionate, mission-driven podiatrist to provide full scope foot and ankle care in a patient-centered, integrated setting. This role reports to the Chief Medical Officer.

Qualified candidates will hold a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, active NC Board of Podiatry licensure and a DEA license, with CPR and necessary certifications obtained within 30 days of hire. You will diagnose, treat, coordinate care with the Kintegra team, and supervise medical staff

Qualifications

• CPR and all applicable certifications required (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
• Valid North Carolina Podiatry license and DEA license required
• North Carolina board certification or equivalent credentials preferred
• Maintains CME requirements and licensure/certification up to date
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers and clinical staff
• Experience in medical office or FQHC settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Review patients’ medical history to evaluate feet, ankle, or lower leg conditions
• Diagnose feet conditions through X-ray and lab tests
• Refer patients to other providers within the Kintegra team for comprehensive care
• Prescribe medications or administer treatments for common foot conditions
• Direct and supervise the Medical Assistant team
• Advise patients on recovery and preventive care to improve outcomes
