Job summary

The Charles B. Wang Community Health Center in New York is seeking a flexible, part-time podiatrist to provide quality care to adult and pediatric patients. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team and play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate podiatry care.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate from an accredited medical school, licensed in New York, and preferably have experience in podiatry. Fluency in additional languages like Mandarin or Spanish is a plus. A flexible schedule is available to maintain a fulfilling career.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited medical school and licensed to practice in New York State.
• Certification or eligible for certification in Podiatry by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• One to two years of experience in practicing podiatry preferred.
• Ability to speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or Spanish is a plus.

Fluency in Chinese, Spanish, or other languages is a plus, though we provide live translation services for all patients. Responsibilities

• Flexible schedule, including opportunity to work on weekends only
• Responsible for podiatry care for adult and pediatric patients referred from the Health Center's primary care sites
• Work closely with multidisciplinary providers to ensure that patients receive the best in podiatry care
• Provide quality care to patients
• Participate in all activities for the multidisciplinary team-based approach for the care of adult and pediatric patients
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited medical school and licensed to practice in New York State
• Certification or eligible for certification in Podiatry by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine
• One to two years of experience in practicing podiatry preferred
• Ability to speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean or Spanish is a plus

• Salary: $65 - $75 per hour
