Balance Health seeks a Podiatrist to join the Nevada Foot and Ankle team in Reno. The physician will provide routine and referral podiatric services under the direction of the CMO, diagnosing and treating foot and ankle conditions while delivering patient-centered care.

Qualified candidates will hold a Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine, a Nevada license, completion of an accredited residency, and strong communication skills.

Qualificações

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited school.
• Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program.
• Current Nevada podiatrist license to practice.

Responsabilidades

• Examine patients' legs and feet to diagnose diseases
• Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles
• Perform wound care management
• Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results
• Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery
• Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems
• Provide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team
• Provide health promotion and preventive medicine
• Maintain appropriate medical records on assigned patients
