Job summary
NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health is seeking a Podiatrist through PAGNY to join a multidisciplinary surgical team. The base annual salary is $207,300 with a potential bonus of up to $40,000; overall compensation includes 401(k) contributions, CME reimbursement, generous PTO and comprehensive benefits.
The role involves inpatient and outpatient foot and ankle surgery, perioperative assessments, on-call coverage, and collaboration with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT
Qualifications
- Board eligible or board certified in Podiatry (ABFAS or ABPM).
- Active NY Podiatry License or eligibility to obtain.
- BLS certification.
- Surgical experience in foot and ankle.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, compassionate, high-quality surgical care as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient surgical care, including evaluating and managing surgical patients in the operating room and clinical settings.
- Conduct perioperative assessments, participate in emergency department consultations, and coordinate discharge planning.
- Provide on-call coverage every third week and/or as needed.
