Job summary

PAGNY is recruiting a podiatrist for NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. The role involves delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient foot and ankle surgical care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires board eligibility or certification in podiatry, an active NY license, and BLS. On-call duties are included, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and academic collaboration with SUNY Downstate and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in podiatry with NY licensure and BLS.
• Surgical experience in foot and ankle procedures required.
• Active board certification in podiatry (ABFAS or ABPM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient podiatric surgical care.
• Evaluate and manage surgical patients in OR and clinical settings.
• Conduct perioperative assessments and coordinate discharge planning.
• Provide on-call coverage every third week or as needed.

Opportunity Details

• Provide comprehensive, compassionate, high-quality surgical care as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient surgical care, includingevaluating and managingsurgical patientsin the operating room andclinical settings.

Qualifications

• Surgical experience required in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery.

Wages and Benefits include:

• Projectedbonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
