Job summary

Medical Director Services seeks compassionate Podiatrists (DPMs) to provide podiatric care in Skilled Nursing Facilities across Alabama. You can choose from one day a week to full-time, with the company coordinating scheduling and facilities.

Compensation is productivity-based with established patient volumes and support from an operations team handling scheduling and billing. New graduates are welcome and malpractice coverage is provided for full-time providers.

Qualifications

• DPM degree from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted podiatry license in the state of employment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Reliable transportation to assigned facilities.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine podiatric care to SNF residents.
• Perform nail debridement and nail procedures.
• Reduce calluses and conduct diabetic foot evaluations.
• Provide preventative foot care and assessments.
• Educate patients and provide treatment recommendations.
• Document using facility EMR systems (PointClickCare, SigmaCare).
